Fairbanks Native Association
The Fairbanks Native Association focuses on providing health services in innovative ways while preserving the unique lifestyle and culture of Alaska Natives and improving the quality of life for the community.
FNA provides services to Ch’eghutsen’ clients in the Fairbanks community.
There are many strengths of a culture, but there can also be negative practices that are handed down from one generation to another, such as drinking. FNA focuses on the strengths while trying to treat and discourage the negative.
Due to the collaborative efforts of these three organizations, UAF, TCC and FNA with the funding from SAMSHA we are able to implement the vision of the Circles of Care Planning Council and have credentialed Alaska Native providers who are able to serve their home communities. These services benefit entire communities.
